As a Business Analyst at Hitachi Vantara, you will have the opportunity to join the Global Business Operations Analytics team, a vital part of the Business Transformation and Integrated Operations organization. In this role, you will play a crucial part in connecting various business functions to drive growth, facilitate data-driven decision making, and tackle dynamic business challenges. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and document analytical and reporting requirements. You will engage with cross-functional teams to comprehend their needs thoroughly and design visual wireframes and mock-ups for dashboards and reports using PowerBI. Your proactive approach will be essential in creating intuitive and impactful visualizations that enhance decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities and Expectations: - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document analytical and reporting requirements. - Engage with cross-functional teams to understand business needs thoroughly. - Design user-friendly wireframes and visual mock-ups for dashboards and reports. - Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI while ensuring data accuracy and relevance. - Conduct data analysis to drive business insights and decision-making. - Identify opportunities for enhancing existing reports, reporting processes, and tools. To excel in this role, you are required to possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role. Proficiency in Power BI for developing dashboards and reports, a strong understanding of data visualization principles, storyboarding, and best practices, as well as experience with SQL and data manipulation are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, are also key attributes that you will bring to the team.
