Job Description
A Front Desk Manager is a professional who serves as the first point of contact for all customers of a business. Here are the key responsibilities and skills associated with this role: Responsibilities: 1. Greeting and Welcoming Guests: As a Front Desk Representative, you'll greet visitors and make them feel welcome as they approach the front desk. 2. Answering Questions and Addressing Complaints: You'll be responsible for answering inquiries from guests and addressing any complaints they may have. 3. Handling Incoming Calls: You'll answer all incoming calls and either redirect them or take messages. 4. Mail Management: Receiving letters, packages, and other mail items, and distributing them appropriately. 5. Outgoing Mail Preparation: Drafting correspondence and securing parcels for outgoing mail. 6. Office Supplies: Monitoring office supplies and placing orders when necessary. 7. Record Keeping: Keeping updated records and files. 8. Expense Monitoring: Tracking office expenses and costs. 9. Additional Duties: Taking up other assigned tasks, such as travel arrangements or scheduling. Requirements and Skills: 1. Experience: Proven experience as a front desk representative or in a relevant position. 2. Office Machines: Familiarity with office machines (e.g. printer). 3. Office Management: Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping. 4. Language Proficiency: Proficient in English (both oral and written). 5. MS Office: Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word. 6. Communication Skills: Strong communication and people skills. 7. Organization and Multi-Tasking: Good organizational abilities and the ability to handle multiple tasks. 8. Problem-Solving: Ability to address issues and solve problems. 9. Customer Service Orientation: A customer-oriented approach.
