Front Office Executive (Dental Clinic)


Job Title: Front Office Executive

Summary: First point of contact responsible for reception, scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and ensuring a positive patient experience.


Responsibilities:

Greet patients, check in/out, answer phones, manage appointments and waitlists.

Verify benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, explain coverage and co-pays.

Process payments, submit insurance claims, collect balances, maintain patient records (HIPAA compliant).

Coordinate with clinical staff on patient flow; keep reception area organized; handle basic correspondence.


Qualifications:

High school diploma; dental/medical admin certification preferred.

Experience at a dental front desk; proficiency with Dentrix/EagleSoft/Open Dental and MS Office.

Strong communication, multitasking, and customer-service skills; bilingual a plus.


Dental Assistant (Clinical)


Job Title: Dental Assistant

Summary: Supports dentists during procedures; maintains sterile operatory; assists with patient care, education, and efficient clinic operations.


Responsibilities:

Prepare operatory; chair-side assistance; sterilize/inventory supplies.

Assist during exams/procedures; manage patient comfort; provide post-treatment instructions.

Take dental radiographs if certified; document in patient record.

Record treatment notes; prepare models; handle lab communications.

Ensure infection control and privacy standards; interact empathetically with patients.

Schedule follow-ups and coordinate with front desk for timely care.


Qualifications:

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or state radiography certification; CPR/First Aid.

Experience preferred; knowledge of dental software; strong chair-side skills.

Physical stamina; good communication; ability to calm anxious patients.
