As a Guest Service Agent, your main responsibility is to provide professional and customer-focused service to our guests, ensuring that their stay is a memorable experience. Your role will involve various key responsibilities such as offering consistently professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service. You will be required to give a warm welcome and check-in guests while adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, you will oversee the check-out process of departing guests in accordance with the established standards. Furthermore, you will be responsible for selling rooms to walk-in guests and handling all pro-active and day-to-day facilities issues. It will be your duty to manage cash inventory, cash cheques, and bills of exchange in foreign currencies for hotel guests in line with the credit policy. Collaboration with colleagues from all departments, especially Housekeeping, Finance, and Reservation, will be essential in ensuring smooth operations. Maintaining the Guest Service Desk, ensuring its operational readiness, and stocking it at all times to be available as a point of contact for guests is crucial. Upholding guest privacy by not disclosing any guest details is a priority. You should have a comprehensive understanding of the hotel's policies, procedures, and service standards, along with full knowledge of the hotel facilities and current events. This is a Full-time, Permanent position that offers benefits such as food provisions, health insurance, and paid sick time. The work schedule involves rotational shifts.
