Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Greet guests with genuine hospitality and guide them through the dining experience. Present and explain menu items with a strong understanding of traditional Japanese dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods (e.g., sushi, sashimi, kaiseki, etc.). Offer accurate recommendations on food and beverage pairings, including sake and Japanese teas. Take orders accurately and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar. Serve food and beverages in a timely, professional, and graceful manner. Anticipate guests needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns. Maintain table settings and ensure cleanliness and organization throughout service. Adhere to fine dining etiquette and presentation standards at all times. Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to maintain seamless operations. Qualifications: Proven experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment. Familiarity with Japanese cuisine and dining customs is highly preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic knowledge of POS systems and order management.,
