Job Description

The floor supervisor role involves managing the technical team on the workshop floor, overseeing workshop floor maintenance, and providing training and guidance to the technical team. The primary responsibilities of this role include: - Allocating job cards to different bays and supervising the work progress on bikes. - Communicating the time required for task completion to the service advisor. - Ensuring availability of all necessary parts, spares, and consumables for the work. - Providing technical guidance to technicians as needed. - Monitoring and ensuring adherence to schedules, taking corrective actions for any delays. - Maintaining quality standards across multiple bays simultaneously. - Interacting with customers observing their bikes being serviced, addressing their queries. - Ensuring technicians can work without interruptions during service. - Demonstrating strong technical knowledge of bikes to customers. - Conducting checks on vehicles in the PDI area with the service advisor to ensure completion of all tasks as per quality standards. - Conducting bike trials to better understand customer concerns or diagnose issues. - Facilitating ceremonial car deliveries with the service advisor at the RE Caf.
