Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter Technician to support our maintenance operations in a stainless steel pipe and tube manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, cranes, pilger machines, and breakdown maintenance in an industrial setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of all plant and shop floor machinery including pilger machines, hydraulic presses, and pneumatic tools.

• Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems to ensure smooth and safe operation.

• Carry out cranes maintenance (EOT/gantry) as per schedule and ensure lifting equipment functionality.

• Fit and assemble mechanical components for repairs or installations across the stainless steel production line.

• Identify and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic parts and ensure minimal downtime.

• Maintain accurate records of performed maintenance tasks, parts used, and time taken.

• Collaborate with the maintenance team and production supervisors for planned maintenance and shutdown activities.

• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations during maintenance work.
