Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Sales:
- Identify, prospect, and qualify leads for CCTV and home automation systems through cold calling, networking, and site visits.
- Client Presentations & Demonstrations:
- Showcase product features and benefits through compelling presentations and hands-on product demonstrations for potential clients.
- Proposal & Contract Management:
- Prepare and deliver detailed sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely closing of deals.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the CCTV and home automation markets.
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Meet and exceed personal and team sales targets and contribute to the overall business growth.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with technical and installation teams to ensure smooth system deployment and provide ongoing support.
- Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions, and provide regular performance reports to management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Sales Experience:
- Proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in security systems, smart home technology, or electronic security solutions.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Technical Understanding:
- A strong foundational knowledge of CCTV hardware and software, as well as home automation principles.
- Driving & Travel:
- A valid driver's license and ownership of a vehicle for travel to client sites are often required.
- Technical Aptitude:
- Ability to understand and explain technical aspects of the products being sold.
- Customer Focus:
- A self-motivated, results-driven approach with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Software Proficiency:
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is beneficial.
