Buzzzest is a fashion brand that specializes in providing made-to-measure clothing and personalized styling recommendations. As the Co-founder & COO, you will play a key role in managing the clothing operations, developing strategies, and overseeing the design division. Your responsibilities will include translating design concepts into technical sketches, creating patterns, and ensuring high-quality production. Your main tasks will involve: - Developing fashion collections that resonate with the brand's aesthetics and current market trends. - Converting design ideas into technical flats and specifications. - Creating and grading patterns for different garment sizes to ensure precision and fit. - Sourcing premium materials that align with design requirements and functionality. - Supervising sample production, conducting fit sessions, and refining patterns as necessary. - Staying updated on fashion trends and garment construction methods. - Collaborating with the co-founders to establish the personal fashion styling segment of the business. Requirements for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field. - 2-3 years of experience in Fashion Design with a focus on patternmaking. - Demonstrated ability to transform design concepts into technical sketches and patterns. - Proficiency in patternmaking techniques, grading, and fit. - Familiarity with CAD and other relevant fashion design software. - Sound knowledge of garment construction and fabric varieties. - A robust portfolio showcasing your design and patternmaking expertise.
