As a sister concern of GM Fabrics, we are known for our commitment to high-quality, stylish garments. We are looking for a skilled Fashion Designer to join our team and focus on creating elegant saree collections. Job Description: As a Fashion Designer specializing in sarees, you will design and develop collections that blend contemporary and traditional styles. You will also be required to visit the factory two to three times a week to oversee production and ensure design accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Design elegant sarees incorporating both modern and traditional elements. Select colors, fabrics, and embellishments to enhance design appeal. Develop seasonal collections and manage design details. Stay updated on fashion trends and integrate them into designs. Visit the factory 2-3 times a week to oversee creation, address issues, and ensure quality. Present design concepts and samples to the Sales Manager and Director. Coordinate with production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in saree design or ethnic wear. Strong knowledge of color theory and fabric selection. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop). Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and communication skills. Ability to manage factory visits and oversee production processes. Passion for ethnic wear and an understanding of saree styles.
