Job Description

The Factory In-charge cum Stock Keeper is responsible for managing the overall operations of the manufacturing unit and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role involves overseeing production processes, ensuring high-quality standards, and coordinating logistics and inventory management to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: Oversee the day-to-day production activities, ensuring that manufacturing processes are efficient, timely, and meet quality standards. Team Supervision: Supervise production staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and enforce safety and operational procedures. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet company quality standards through regular inspections and adherence to quality control procedures. Equipment Maintenance: Schedule and oversee regular maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all inventory, including raw materials, in-process items, and finished products. Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, reorder materials as needed, and prevent overstocking or stockouts. Inventory Audits: Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and records. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and manage the receipt and storage of materials to ensure timely availability for production. Warehouse Organization: Organize and manage warehouse space efficiently to ensure easy access to inventory and proper storage conditions.
