As a Full-Time CO2 Welder with over 10 years of hands-on experience, you will be an integral part of our team. Your primary responsibility will be to perform high-quality CO2 welding on mild steel and other metal components, ensuring precision, durability, and efficiency in every project. Your key responsibilities will include performing CO2 welding on various metal structures such as mild steel plates and fittings, following blueprints and technical drawings for precise welding and assembly, preparing materials by cutting, grinding, and fit-up, inspecting and maintaining welding equipment for proper functionality, ensuring all welds meet industry standards and company quality control requirements, collaborating with the CNC cutting team and other departments for efficient workflow, troubleshooting welding defects, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in CO2 welding, a strong understanding of welding techniques and metal properties, familiarity with CNC operations, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, attention to detail, a commitment to quality work, the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and willingness to work full-time with flexibility for overtime when required.
