Job Description
JOB TITLE - EXPORT OFFICER/ INTERNATIONAL SALES DEPARTMENT- EXPORTS NOTICE PERIOD- 0-15 DAYS SALARY - UP TO 30K PER MONTH EXPERIENCE - 2 to 5 Years KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Documentation and Compliance Prepare and manage all export-related documents, including invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, and bills of lading. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies. Coordinate with clearing agents for smooth shipment handling. 2. Logistics Management : Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and other logistics partners to arrange timely and cost-effective shipments. Monitor shipment schedules to ensure on-time delivery. 3. Customer Relationship Management Act as a point of contact for International clients and distributors, addressing their inquiries and resolving concerns. Provide regular updates on order and shipment status. 4. Market Research & Strategy : Identify new market opportunities and trends in international trade. Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to explore potential export markets. 5. Financial Coordination : 6. Performance Reporting : Maintain shipments, expenses, and sales records to prepare regular reports for management review. Evaluate and improve export processes to ensure efficiency. Qualifications & Skills required : Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in export operations or a similar role. Strong understanding of export documentation, customs regulations, and International trade laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office & ERP systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills : Knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping practices. Familiarity with export incentives and schemes ( e.g. Duty Drawback, RoDTEP ). Fluency in additional languages is an advantage.
