You will be joining EIL, an IT services company operating in Asia Pacific and EMEA, specializing in various technologies including desktops, servers, networks, and data center technologies. Currently, we have an opening for an L1 desktop engineer. The key responsibilities for this role include: - Experience in managing desktop, network, and printer issues. - Skilled in installing and upgrading Operating Systems. - Applying patches and software/hardware break-fix solutions. - Proficient network engineer with knowledge in areas like Wifi, LAN, WAN, Switch, and Router Configuration. - Installation and administration of MS Office. - Proficiency in business English along with the local language. It would be advantageous to have a CCNA certification or higher. The role is based at FMC Technologies India Pvt Ltd, Ground Floor, Plot No 7A, GMR Hyderabad Aviation SEZ Limited, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Mamidipally, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Telangana, 500108 and is for a duration of 3 months. As part of the job requirements, you are expected to carry the following standard tools when visiting sites: - A fully charged laptop with Windows 8 or 10 operating system and admin rights. - Cisco Console cable (DB9 Rj45 or USB RJ45). Ensure proper installation of drivers if using a USB converter. - Essential software/programs on the laptop: Putty, Team Viewer, TFTP server. - A screwdriver set.
