Operation & Monitoring

• Start, operate, and shut down treatment systems as per SOP.
• Monitor plant parameters (flow, pressure, pH, ORP, TDS, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, temperature, etc.).
• Maintain proper chemical dosing levels.

Record Keeping

• Maintain daily log sheets of plant readings.
• Record chemical consumption, water output, and operational hours.
• Report any deviations or abnormalities immediately to the supervisor.

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and backwashing as required.
• Assist in troubleshooting plant equipment issues.
• Replace consumables like filters, membranes, and oil where applicable.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow safety protocols (PPE, lock-out/tag-out procedures).
• Handle chemicals safely and store them properly.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental norms.

Housekeeping

• Maintain cleanliness of the plant area.
• Prevent leakages and spillages.
