Job Description
We are currently hiring for one of our clients in the Furnace industry. They are an MNC and are based out of Pune. Details of the same are mentioned below: Position: Estimation Engineer / Manager Qualification: BE Job Location: Pune Experience required: 5 to 10 years CTC range: 7 to 10 lpa Job description: Roles and Responsibilities: 1: Scrutiny of tender documents 2: Evaluating tender documents, drawings, & schedules. 3: Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers. 4: Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations. 5: Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product. 6: Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out Value engineering studies. 7: Maintaining ISO documentation, Record Keeping, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records. 8: Delegating Draftsmen for quantity take offs, cross checking quantities. 9: Pricing for electrical / mechanical / plumbing systems. 10: Assisting in compiling of tenders. 11: Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific questionnaires. Desired Candidate Profile: 1: Someone having experience of having worked on enquires received from Major EPC companies and / or worked at project sites or production plant. 2: Should have basic knowledge to work on MS Office. 3: Should have knowledge to read the enquiry terms and conditions. 4.
