Job Description

You will be a key member of our architectural team in Gurugram, responsible for creating accurate cost estimates, procuring construction materials, and providing basic AutoCAD support. Your role will involve collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure project scopes align with budget considerations. Additionally, you will be managing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining a comprehensive database of material costs and alternatives. Utilizing your AutoCAD skills, you will assist in quantity take-offs, minor drawing edits, and material annotations to support project needs. As an Estimate Maker & Product Purchaser, your responsibilities will include preparing detailed cost estimates for architectural and interior design projects, analyzing drawings to determine material requirements, and coordinating with stakeholders to clarify project scopes. You will be sourcing materials, negotiating pricing and lead times, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely deliveries to project sites. Furthermore, you will work closely with project managers to align budgets and procurement timelines, contributing to cost control and value engineering exercises throughout the design and construction phases. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as an estimator or procurement officer within architectural, construction, or interior design fields. Proficiency in AutoCAD for basic tasks, a solid understanding of construction materials, and effective communication and negotiation skills are essential. Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects efficiently are key traits we are seeking. A background in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields is preferred, along with familiarity with local building materials, suppliers, and pricing trends.
