Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Product Development: Lead or support the design and development of new products based on market requirements. Create and evaluate design concepts, prototypes, and drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Conduct design reviews, FMEA, and DFM/DFA analysis. Project Management: Develop and manage project timelines and deliverables. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals, deadlines, and budgets. Report project status and risks to stakeholders regularly. Testing & Validation: Develop test plans and validation protocols. Coordinate lab testing, field trials, and performance evaluations. Analyze test results and implement design modifications as needed. Documentation: Prepare and maintain all NPD-related documentation, including: Product design files (CAD drawings, BOMs) Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) Project reports and timelines Test reports and validation documents DFMEA/PFMEA Design history files (DHF) Product specifications and user manuals Process Development & Handover: Support the transition of new products into production. Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to develop processes, jigs, and fixtures. Provide training and technical support during product launch.
