Job Description

As an Embedded Firmware Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software and hardware solutions for various requirements related to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Your role will involve developing new embedded systems to enhance the reliability of UAVs. You should have expertise in C/C++, Embedded RTOS, RF, Bluetooth, Integrated Sensors, Wifi, Camera, Memory, GSM, and GPS integration. Your responsibilities will include using schematics, component data sheets, and electronic test equipment, as well as having a strong background in PCB design and simulation. You will be involved in drafting schematics, designing PCBs, creating BOMs, and procuring components. Additionally, you will develop embedded software for both existing and new Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) products. In this position, you will lead and manage the embedded software team, following Agile methodologies for project and product development. You will work with state-of-the-art sensor systems and modules, develop drivers, and create applications around their usage. Your tasks will also involve scripting and automations development related to UAS workflows. To excel in this role, you should be comfortable with hands-on embedded software development and have experience with Agile forms of embedded development. You must possess a solid understanding of interrupts architecture in ARM-based microcontrollers, hands-on experience in low-level driver development, and familiarity with RTOS/OS concepts. Your analytical abilities will be crucial for conducting core research and development activities, as well as for reading and comprehending datasheets and reference manuals. You should be capable of understanding complex embedded software stacks written in C/C++ and have a proven track record in developing embedded products with high standards. This is a full-time position based in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, requiring a minimum of 1 year of work experience. The role offers health insurance and follows a day shift schedule. You must be willing to reliably commute or relocate to Bhubaneswar before starting work.
