Job Description
Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems in both residential and commercial settings. Work with blueprints and electrical layouts to install systems like burglar alarms, card access, video surveillance, IP networks, and Wi-Fi. Ensure systems are properly integrated with other building systems. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair faults in ELV systems. Troubleshoot and test technical equipment. Respond promptly to emergency calls and malfunctions. Specific Systems: Work with various ELV systems, including: CCTV (closed-circuit television) Access control systems (electronic locks, card readers) Fire alarm systems Audio-visual systems Intrusion detection systems Structured cabling Other Duties: Perform client site evaluations to determine equipment needs for new installations or system upgrades. Provide on-site technical support and problem-solving. Prepare and submit reports on system conditions and recommended actions. Maintain records of maintenance functions. Comply with safety regulations and procedures. May involve minor carpentry, drilling, and traveling to customer sites.
