Job Description
Electrician JD
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical systems in the API production plant.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in motors, control panels, MCC panels, VFDs, PLCs, and other industrial electrical equipment.
- Install new electrical systems and upgrade existing infrastructure as per plant expansion or modification requirements.
- Monitor and maintain power supply systems, UPS, DG sets, and transformers.
- Ensure timely calibration and validation support for electrically operated instruments and equipment.
- Maintain documentation for all maintenance activities as per GMP and regulatory compliance (SOPs, logbooks, breakdown reports, etc.).
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines during electrical work.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
- Support external inspections and audits by regulatory authorities (USFDA, MHRA, WHO, etc.) by ensuring electrical compliance.
- Ensure EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices are followed at all times during work.
