Job Description
Position Title: Electrical Engineer Department: New Product Development (NPD) Technical Location: Navi Mumbai. Required Skills & Qualifications: Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding and interpretation of 2D AutoCAD technical drawings, customer quality requirements. Knowledge of design, manufacturing, and quality parameters for electrical components such as transformers and switchgear Strong grasp of electrical transmission and distribution systems, including industry standards and regulatory requirements Communication Skills: Proficient in both oral and written communication Able to effectively draft technical correspondence and communicate with internal and external stakeholders via email and meetings Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the transformer / switchgear industry, preferably in roles involving product development, quality control, or design engineering. Detailed Job Description: Technical Review & Requirement Analysis: Analyze 2D drawings and technical documents to comprehend customer needs and translate them into product specifications Review electrical standards and specifications to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a bridge between customers, the engineering team, and the manufacturing plant to ensure product feasibility and timely development Collaborate with quality, design, and production departments during the new product development (NPD) cycle Product Development Support: Participate in design reviews, prototype evaluation, and validation processes Provide technical inputs during material selection, process planning, and testing phases Address and resolve technical issues that arise during development and initial production Documentation & Communication: Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to drawings, specifications, and customer communications Present reports and progress updates to management and clients as required,
