Job Description

As the Director of Technical Services for Games, you will lead and scale end-to-end delivery operations for game production and other software projects, ensuring the highest standards of performance, reliability, and innovation. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and global clients to deliver exceptional player experiences in AAA, mobile, and casual games. Your role will involve defining and driving technical strategy, overseeing service delivery, leading and growing cross-disciplinary teams, engaging with clients and stakeholders, ensuring operational excellence and governance, and managing security, compliance, and risk. Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Strategy & Roadmap: - Define and drive a unified technology roadmap for game engines and enterprise platforms. - Align technical services with business objectives and client success metrics. 2. Service Delivery & Operations: - Oversee full life cycle delivery for game development and IT applications. - Maintain SLAs and KPIs through incident, change, and problem management processes. - Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring. 3. Team Leadership & Growth: - Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams. - Establish performance metrics and career paths. - Partner with HR on talent acquisition and professional development. 4. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: - Serve as a technical liaison for key clients. - Work closely with internal teams to craft proposals and ensure project execution. - Translate technical concepts into business value for stakeholders. 5. Operational Excellence & Governance: - Own service health dashboards and continuous improvement initiatives. - Standardize documentation and support models. - Drive automation in code reviews and deployment workflows. 6. Security, Compliance & Risk Management: - Enforce compliance with industry standards across gaming back ends and enterprise systems. - Identify and mitigate technical and security risks. - Collaborate with InfoSec, Legal, and Privacy teams. Required Qualifications - Experience: 15+ years in technical delivery leadership. - Technical Expertise: Mastery of gaming platforms and technologies. - Leadership: Track record of scaling global engineering teams. - Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills. - Agile Mindset: Comfortable in fast-paced environments. - Education: Bachelors or masters in computer science or related field. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Pune with a Monday to Friday schedule.
