Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, support, and solutions related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware and software.
- Set up user accounts, profiles, and manage access permissions.
- Provide support for Microsoft Windows, Office, Outlook, and antivirus.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues (LAN, WiFi, printer sharing).
- Respond to service requests and incidents within defined SLAs.
- Maintain and update documentation related to IT assets and configurations.
- Perform regular system maintenance, backups, and updates.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs/replacements.
- Required Skills:Good knowledge of Windows OS (7, 10, 11), MS Office, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and proactive in resolving problems.
