Responsibilities: Create 3D models considering styling, manufacturing, packaging, durability & performance requirements Create 2D drawings/ 3D Annotations Participate in Internal Design & Engineering Reviews Excellent verbal and written communication skills Requirements: At least 3-7 years of hands on CATIA V5/3DExperience is a must Proficient in Generative Shape Design, Part Design, and Drafting Strong knowledge and experience in Automotive sheetmetal component design For Upperbody & Underbody systems position, must have experience designing automotive components such as A Pillar, B Pillar Frame, Roof, Stiffeners, Dashboard Lower, Wheel Arch Extension, Fender, Bulkhead, Floor and such parts For Closure Systems position, must have experience in design such as Tailgate, Trunk, Hood, Doors and such parts Experience of OEM/Tier1 is preferred Knowledge of sheet metal material, thickness, coating etc Knowledge of milestones in automotive product development Good understanding of manufacturing processes, DFMEA, GD&T & tolerance stack analysis Experience with MS Office tools like Excel and Powerpoint Our engagement with organizations for continued professional development ensures our commitment to creating career growth opportunities for all our associates.
