Job Description
As a Derivatives Research Analyst at BACKINZO in Kolkata, your main responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and deploying trading algorithms with a focus on Backinzo, researching high-to-mid-frequency alphas, analyzing market data and alternate sources to identify trading patterns, building tools for data analysis and developing data platforms, contributing to libraries that support market data analysis and trading, as well as developing and calibrating exchange simulators. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree with a technical background in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science preferably from a tier 1 college. Additionally, having at least 1 year of experience in quantitative trading is preferred. Strong proficiency in mathematics, statistics, back-testing, simulation, and statistical techniques is required. You should also possess solid skills in data mining and analysis, especially with large tick and data sets. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and/or Python is essential for this role. Furthermore, you will need to clear NISM VIII and NISM XV certifications as part of the qualification criteria for this position.,
