Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Debt Recovery Caller (DRA Certified) to join our collections team. The primary responsibility is to recover overdue payments from customers in a professional, ethical, and compliant manner. The ideal candidate should be certified under the DRA program and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound calls to customers with overdue payments and remind them of outstanding dues.
  • Negotiate payment plans, settlements, or full payments in line with company policy and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all calls, promises to pay, disputes, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
  • Work closely with the legal or field collections team for escalation cases.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly recovery targets.
  • Ensure strict adherence to RBI and DRA code of conduct while dealing with customers.
  • Handle customer queries or disputes with patience and professionalism.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors regarding common customer concerns or collection challenges.
  • Escalate high-risk or non-cooperative cases to the appropriate authority.
  • Required Qualifications: DRA Certification (mandatory as per RBI/IBA guidelines).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in collections or debt recovery preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in [local language(s) + English/Hindi].
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with CRM or collection software.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Preferred Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of banking/financial products and services.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements regarding collections (RBI, IBA, etc.).
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
