Job Description
Database Administrator
- Experience as Database administrator with 3+ years as Couchbase administrator
- Installation, configuration, monitoring, backup and recovery, security, and performance tuning of Couchbase
- Couchbase Installation and Cluster Setup in all environments.
- Strong understanding of Couchbase architecture, including buckets, scopes, collections, indexing, and N1QL.
- Implementing and managing backup and recovery strategies for Couchbase clusters.
- Domains worked: Banking & Fintech in areas such as Investment Banking, Custody, Issuer Services, Securities and Equities
- Manage, optimize, and support our Couchbase database environments
- Implement robust security practices including role-based access control and data encryption
- Diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to Couchbase Server, including performance bottlenecks
- Work with developers to design efficient data models
- Good Communication skills and experience in Agile process
