Designation Data Scientist Job Location Gurugram, Udyog Vihar Phase 4 Job Purpose As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive actionable insights and solutions that support business objectives and drive innovation. You will work closely with new development and cross-functional teams to analyse complex datasets, develop predictive models, and deliver data-driven recommendations to solve business challenges. Responsibilities Data Exploration & Preparation: Collect, clean, and pre-process data from various sources, including structured and unstructured data. Explore and understand data characteristics, patterns, and anomalies. Statistical Analysis & Modelling: Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modelling techniques to develop models that uncover insights and make predictions. Utilize algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning. Feature Engineering & Selection: Engineer relevant features from raw data and select the most predictive features for modelling. Optimize feature selection techniques to improve model performance. Model Development & Evaluation: Develop and train machine learning models using appropriate algorithms and methodologies. Evaluate model performance using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and AUC. Model Deployment & Integration: Deploy models into production environments and integrate them with existing systems and applications. Monitor model performance and recalibrate models as needed. Data Visualization & Interpretation: Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights and findings to stakeholders. Translate complex analytical results into actionable recommendations for business leaders. Experimentation & A/B Testing: Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate model performance. Analyse experiment results and provide insights to improve decision-making. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders. Communicate findings, methodologies, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Desired Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., Masters) preferred. Proven experience (5+ years) in data science, machine learning, or related roles. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or others. Experience with libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Spark is a plus. Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques. Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.
