As a Data Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our engineering team to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure, ensuring efficient data flow and processing. Key Responsibilities: Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines to process large datasets efficiently. Work with structured and unstructured data to support analytics and reporting needs. Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to optimize data workflows and infrastructure. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across various platforms. Participate in database management tasks, including querying, indexing, and optimization. Debug and troubleshoot data-related issues to maintain operational continuity. Document technical processes and workflows for seamless knowledge transfer. Required Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in Python or Java/Scala. Familiarity with SQL and database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar). Basic understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services is desirable. Data Handling: Proficiency in working with structured and unstructured data. Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline workflows. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively. Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
