Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive Credit Manager with at least 2 years of experience in credit underwriting within the NBFC or digital lending space. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of loan underwriting, document verification, and customer profiling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and underwrite payday loan applications based on risk parameters.
- Verify customer documents such as KYC, income proofs, and bank statements.
- Conduct telephonic verification and customer discussions as part of due diligence.
- Identify fraud indicators and ensure compliance with internal credit policies.
- Coordinate with the sales and collections teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in credit underwriting, preferably in an NBFC.
- Strong knowledge of financial documents, credit risk assessment, and customer verification.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort with customer calling.
- Detail-oriented with good decision-making skills.
