Job Description
Job responsibilities. As a member of the marketing team, the candidate will be responsible for arriving at the size of the furnace & plant for customer applications, estimating the manufacturing cost of the furnaces & machines, calculating the energy requirement & managing associated paperwork. Handling customer RFQ Zero base costing / clean sheet costing. Submitting techno-commercial offer to customer. Estimation and preparation of bill of quantities to assist in the tendering process Preparing rate analysis for various items as per customer requirements Estimation and costing of the BOQ items and filing up the rates for items. Background: 3-6 years of extensive hands-on Costing & Estimation in an engineering Company, division or start up. Deep understanding of technology and a solid background in mechanical engineering processes. Ability to interpret Autocad & Solid works drawings Prior experience in MS office suite especially Excel.
