Job Description
You will be responsible for collecting cost information and maintaining an expenses database. This includes constructing data accumulation systems and determining fixed costs such as salaries, rent, and insurance. You will also need to plan and record variable costs like purchases of raw materials and operational costs. In this role, you will review standard and actual costs to identify any inaccuracies and prepare budgeting reports for the company as a whole and for each department. Analyzing and reporting profit margins will also be part of your duties, along with preparing cost forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will assist in month-end and year-end closing processes and identify opportunities for cost-effective solutions.
