Job Description
Position: Junior Architect/Conservation Architect Company name: - Sharayu More Associates Company website: - www.sm-associates.in Experience: 1- 3 years (in conservation) Location: - Mulund, Mumbai Working Days: - Monday to Saturday (2nd Saturday off) Working Hours: - 10am to 6.30pm Salary: - As per experience Role And Responsibilities: - Documentation, condition mapping and assessment of heritage properties Preparing working drawings and tender documents Preparing conservation plans, overseeing ongoing execution works Visit sites, inspect and survey historic sites and buildings and prepare Inspection Reports Coordinating and liasing with clients, vendors, and other professionals etc. Collaborate with architects, historians, and engineers to ensure high-quality conservation outcomes. Research and write reports and proposals. Maintain documentation and records of projects, research materials etc. Prepare Estimates/ Bill of Quantities Knowledge of Measurements & Billing Skills Prior knowledge of Heritage Conservation is a must A strong interest in, and knowledge of, historic architecture, building methods and techniques Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to buildings and conservation Confidence in working with measurements and budget calculations Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals Good analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail An eye for design, the ability to sketch designs and plans and an understanding of technical drawings Organizational skills and a methodical approach to work Project management skills Ability to produce clear and concise reports Strong teamworking skills Good IT skills Openness to travel to locations within and outside Mumbai. Knowledge of the local language (Marathi) is a plus. Educational Qualification: - B. Arch/ M. Arch (Conservation)/ B.E.
