Job Title: Computer Hardware Engineer / Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Hardware Engineer/Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems and networks. You should have good knowledge of computer hardware components, diagnostic tools, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware.
• Diagnose hardware issues and repair or replace faulty components.
• Assemble computer systems and ensure proper cabling and power supply.
• Perform regular maintenance to ensure system efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Maintain inventory of computer parts and equipment.
• Collaborate with the software support team for system compatibility.
• Provide support for networking equipment (LAN/WAN, routers, switches).
• Document all repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
• Stay updated with the latest hardware technologies and industry trends.
• Requirements:Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Hardware, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in computer hardware servicing and support.
• Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware, BIOS, and peripherals.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred Skills (Optional):Knowledge of operating systems installation (Windows, Linux, etc.)
• Experience with CCTV installation and maintenance
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent
• Working Conditions:On-site job with occasional field visits
• May require lifting hardware equipment (up to 20kg)
• Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (can be adjusted)
