Job Description

As a Computer Hardware and Networking Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and network systems. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all computer systems and network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networking systems. - Diagnose and repair hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripheral devices. - Set up and manage network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls. - Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. - Troubleshoot network-related issues, including connectivity problems and security breaches. - Perform routine maintenance and updates on hardware and software systems. - Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and network issues promptly. - Document and maintain records of repairs, installations, and configurations. - Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in hardware and networking. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Computer Hardware and Networking Technician or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and network configurations. - Experience with network troubleshooting tools and techniques. - Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus. Education: - A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
