Job Description
As a Company Secretary based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, and other corporate laws and regulations. Your duties will include drafting and filing ROC forms, resolutions, minutes of meetings, and other statutory documents. You will also coordinate board meetings, AGMs, and EGMs, maintain statutory registers, and handle legal correspondence with external regulators and advisers. Moreover, you will assist in preparing annual reports, disclosures, and corporate governance filings, monitor changes in legislation, and support in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents. Your key skills should include a strong understanding of corporate law and secretarial practices, excellent drafting and communication abilities, proficiency in MCA21 portal and ROC filings, and attention to detail while handling confidential information. Ideally, you should possess at least 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Company Secretary, preferably in a manufacturing or private limited company setup. The ability to work independently, take ownership of compliance tasks, and effectively navigate a dynamic regulatory environment will be crucial to your success in this role.
