Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Mortgage Collection Officer to manage the recovery of overdue mortgage loans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for minimizing delinquency, managing borrower relationships, and ensuring timely collections in compliance with legal and company guidelines. Key Responsibilities Analyze borrowers financial situations and recommend suitable solutions (e.g., restructuring, settlement, legal action). Maintain accurate and updated records of communications, commitments, and collection status in the loan management system. Coordinate with legal and recovery teams on cases requiring escalations or litigation. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and RBI guidelines related to collections. Regularly report on collection activities, aging reports, and performance metrics. Foster positive customer relationships while ensuring firm recovery efforts. Assist in skip tracing and tracing defaulters using various databases and tools. Key Requirements Education: Any Bachelors degree Experience: Minimum 04 years of experience in mortgage or secured loan collections, preferably with NBFCs or banks. Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Sound knowledge of mortgage loan structures, recovery processes, and SARFAESI Act. Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
