Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator / Programmer to set up, operate, and for machining precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

? Set up and operate CNC Turning Lathe machines to perform precision turning, facing, boring, and threading operations.

? Read and interpret engineering drawing

? Select appropriate tools, inserts, and fixtures for machining.

? Write, edit, or modify CNC programs (Fanuc controls).

? Perform part inspections using measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges to ensure quality and tolerance requirements are met.

? Monitor machine operations and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling as necessary.

? Maintain machines in good working condition and ensure routine maintenance is carried out.

? Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

? Record production data and report issues or deviations to supervisors.

Requirements: ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in operating and programming CNC Lathe machines.

Knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc systems).

Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Familiarity with machining of large components (optional, based on your industry).

Good understanding of tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds.

Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

• Preferred Skills:Experience with large diameter jobs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM (optional).
