Job Description
Position: Cloud Administrator- AWS Purpose of the Position: To provide client with AWS Administrator capacity to support their AWS landscape spread across multiple accounts and with annual multimillion $ spending. This position is part of Infocepts Cloud Ops support team, which is responsible for AWS administration, optimization & automation, & security. Location: Nagpur/Pune/Chennai/Bangalore Type of Employment: Full-time Key Result Areas and Activities: Deploy, manage, and operate AWS cloud environments Identify appropriate use of cloud operational best practices Good understanding of cloud automation for environment provisioning i.e. IaC tool knowledge (e.g. Terraform) Define and monitor the health/utilization of cloud resources Resource tagging to allocate costs and for carefully planning of budgeting, governance, and reporting Solving access issues related to role, policies and users Working on POC activities Should be able to create technical artefacts Essential Skills: Sound knowledge on cloud technologies, cloud services including the templates and CLI. Must have experience of CICD / DevOps tools (e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins) Experience of managing all aspects of the enterprise cloud environments, apply best practices, as well as assisting teams to leverage technologies and troubleshooting problems Experience in IaC tools like Terraform Experience in Monitoring patches, permissions, and repair deployments Experience in Creating policies for cloud computing systems Experience in Integrating cloud systems into current environments Experience in S3, IAM, SQS, SNS, ECS, EC2, ALB, VPC, NAT, NACL, Lambda and other AWS services Experience in Networking basics, security groups, vertical and horizontal scaling Knowledge on AWS monitoring tools CloudWatch, trusted adviser, cloud tail, cloud configuration Experience in cloud cost optimization & allocation Desirable Skills: Able to work in a self-organized and cross-functional team and able to lead a team of 5 resources Experience in Documenting systems infrastructure Experience in Evaluating and implementing new technologies Knowledge of ticketing tool e.g. ServiceNow Knowledge of Infra monitoring tool e.g. Datadog Knowledge of scripting language e.g. Python Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus) At least 5 years of IT experience; minimum 3 years of experience on AWS Cloud Administration Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods Qualities: Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes for a fast-growing team and firm Able to communicate persuasively through speaking, writing, and client presentations Able to work in a self-organized and cross-functional team Able to iterate based on new information, peer reviews, and feedback Research focused mindset Location India Years Of Exp 5 to 8 years,
