Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Engineer, located in Mumbai. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of the ship's engine room and machinery. Daily tasks include supervising engine room staff, preparing maintenance plans, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, and maintaining logs and reports. The Chief Engineer will also coordinate with other departments to ensure the efficient operation of the vessel. Qualifications Extensive knowledge and experience in marine engineering and ship maintenance Strong leadership and management skills to oversee engine room staff Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing maintenance plans Knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures Excellent communication and coordination skills Relevant maritime certifications and a valid Chief Engineer license Experience in tugging, towing, and allied services is a plus Ability to work on-site in Mumbai,
