Job Description
We are looking for a Chemist ( STP operation) for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Job Summary: Responsible for conducting chemical and microbiological analyses of wastewater samples, monitoring treatment processes, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform chemical and microbiological analyses of samples (raw, in-process, treated effluent). Operate and maintain laboratory equipment. Monitor process parameters (BOD, COD, TSS, pH, etc.). Interpret results, recommend process adjustments, and optimize plant efficiency. Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance. Assist in troubleshooting process issues and provide technical support. Manage laboratory inventory and ensure proper waste disposal. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications in water chemistry/wastewater treatment are a plus. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a water/wastewater treatment plant laboratory or a similar industrial laboratory setting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills.,
