Job Description
- Oversee day-to-day operations of API production processes and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for the production of APIs.
- Monitor plant performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements to increase yield and reduce costs.
- Participate in scale-up and tech transfer of new molecules from R&D to production.
- Develop and review batch manufacturing records (BMRs), SOPs, and validation protocols.
- Collaborate with Quality, R&D, EHS, and Maintenance departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, EHS, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Support audits by regulatory bodies and customers.
- Maintain documentation as per regulatory and company requirements.
- Train and mentor plant operators and junior engineers.
