Job Description
- ? Key Responsibilities:Prepare and present continental dishes (pasta, pizza, sandwiches, salads, etc.) as per brand standards
- Maintain quality, hygiene, and consistency in food preparation and presentation
- Supervise and train commis chefs and kitchen helpers in your section
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for timely order delivery, especially during birthday parties and peak hours
- Assist in menu planning, new dish trials, and standardization with the Head Chef
- Ensure cleanliness, proper storage, and FIFO stock rotation in the continental section
- Monitor food wastage and assist in maintaining cost controls and portioning
- ? Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in continental cuisine (hot kitchen or café-style)
- Strong knowledge of basic western dishes and handling of commercial kitchen equipment
- Experience in QSR, family dining, or cafe-style kitchens preferred
- Good communication and team supervision skills
- Flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts
