Position: CCTV & IT Technician Location: Guwahati, Assam Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Shift: Day Shift Work Mode: In person Travel Requirement: Up to 50% (Preferred) Key Responsibilities: CCTV Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems including analog and IP cameras Set up DVR/NVR systems and integrate remote viewing solutions Troubleshoot camera/video issues, perform regular system checks, and maintain logs Ensure proper coverage, alignment, and recording settings for all installed systems Networking & IT Support: Install and configure LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points Maintain structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) and network racks Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, IP conflicts, and performance lags Support in setting up and maintaining workstations, PCs, and basic IT peripherals Low Voltage & Electrical Integration: Lay conduit, cable trays, and structured wiring for low-voltage systems Perform minor electrical works related to security and automation devices Ensure all safety standards and installation best practices are followed Qualifications & Skills Required: Education: ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's in: Computer Hardware & Networking Electronics & Communication Engineering Electrical Engineering Information Technology Not compulsory if you have required knowledge and experience. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of CCTV technology and surveillance system integration Familiarity with networking (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, etc.) Knowledge of cable dressing, crimping, testing, and patch panel setup Basic Windows knowledge for system setup and troubleshooting Ability to read technical diagrams and follow standard installation protocols Basic knowledge of UPS, power supplies, and electrical safety for IT setups Preferred Qualities: Willingness to travel within North-East India Good communication and teamwork skills Punctual, detail-oriented, and self-driven attitude,
