Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cashier to join our team at our showroom in Chennai. The Cashier will be responsible for handling transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the payment process.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Transactions:

Greet customers and assist them with the purchase process.

Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system.

Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment.

Issue receipts and change as necessary.

Billing and Invoicing:

Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy.

Customer Service:

Provide prompt, polite, and efficient service to customers.

Maintaining Cash Flow:

Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.

Maintain accurate records of all transactions.

Assist in preparing the daily cash reports for management.

Ensure that all payment transactions comply with company procedures.

Follow showroom security guidelines to prevent theft or fraud.

Experience: Prior cashier or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
