Job Role: RF Instruments-Calibration Engineer (Immediate Requirement) Qualifications and Experience: Minimum requirement of Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of experience in RF Test & Measuring Instrument calibration. Should have good knowledge about Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer, Software Defined Radio, Vector Signal Generators and other RF measuring instruments. Familiarity with calibration procedure, equipment and tools. Knowledge of calibration methodologies. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and standards. Work Location: Chennai Responsibilities: Calibration Procedures: Develop and update calibration methods, schedules, and documentation. Equipment Testing: Use tools to calibrate Vector Network Analyzer, Signal Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Impedance Analyzer, Vector Signal Generators etc Compliance: Ensure adherence to standards (ISO 17025 equivalent) and audit readiness. Perform calibration of RF/ MW test and measurement products Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve deviations in equipment performance. Collaboration: Work with QA, R&D, Sales & Service teams to align calibration with operational goals. Software Management: Utilize calibration management software to track systems and generate reports. Maintain calibration records and documentation for audits Continuous Improvement: Optimize processes and implement new technologies. Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed logs for audits and regulatory reviews. Able to Work with R&D Engineer, faculties and PhD scholars of IITs, NITs and other colleges to help them for calibration related requirements in their research work.
