As a Buying Specialist specializing in cosmetic and skin care products, you will be responsible for vendor management, product development, and supply chain oversight in Gurgaon. With 2-4 years of experience in the field, your key duties will include managing stock, handling purchase orders, and ensuring timely deliveries. Your role will require strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and market awareness. A team-oriented and motivated approach is essential for success in this position. Your responsibilities will involve sourcing good vendors, developing new vendors and products, managing the supply chain, handling monthly deliveries, monitoring stock of high-selling SKUs in the warehouse, keeping track of sales and stock, generating purchase orders, and following up on the same. To excel in this role, you must have specialized knowledge in cosmetics and skin care products, possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written in English), stay updated on current industrial and fashion market trends, be highly motivated and focused, maintain a positive attitude with a team spirit, demonstrate strong negotiation skills, and exhibit a collaborative approach as a team player.
