Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and understanding of Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, BMS, and the building construction industry. This role requires a proactive individual who can leverage our comprehensive databases of builders and MNCs, manage customer relationships using CRM software, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry and MNC sector.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and BMS systems to propose tailored solutions to clients.
- Maintain and update the builders and MNC companies database to ensure accurate and relevant information.
- Manage the entire business development cycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and post-sales support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and report on business development performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide relevant insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in the security systems industry (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, BMS).
- Strong understanding of building construction processes and industry dynamics.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development targets.
- Experience working with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale projects and working with MNCs.
- Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards.
