Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Industry: Gifting

Reports to: Sales/Business Development Manager/Director


Key Responsibilities:


1. New Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the gifting industry, including corporate clients, retailers, and online platforms.

2. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to drive sales growth and identify new opportunities.

3. Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to create new and innovative gift products that meet client needs and drive business growth.

4. Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs.

5. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business development objectives, including identifying new sales channels and opportunities.

6. Client Management: Manage client relationships, including responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and identifying new sales opportunities.

7. Sales Forecasting: Develop and manage sales forecasts to ensure accurate predictions of sales performance.

8. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive business growth.


Requirements:


1. Experience: 3-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the gifting industry or a related field.

2. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

3. Knowledge: Good understanding of the gifting industry, including market trends, competitor activity, and client needs.

4. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
